Our black-owned recording studio is founded by J’andre Rackard, a talented graduate of the Boston Arts Academy with a BA from Salem State University in entrepreneurship and management. Jthedjstudios is more than just a recording studio, it’s a place where creativity thrives, and musical dreams come to life.

OUR STORY

J'andre Rackard’s musical journey began at the young age of 12 when he dreamed of transforming his bedroom into a recording studio to provide a positive outlet for kids in his community. His passion for music, DJ’ing and sound engineering led to his dedication to mentoring students and peers, guiding them away from the streets and towards a creative and productive path. Through his entrepreneurial efforts, J'andre successfully created a space where young people could find inspiration and support.
